We are currently looking for a Configuration Manager to join our winning team. The individual hired for this position will provide support for our government customer, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) at Point Mugu, CA.
NAWCWD primarily operates in two Southern California locations: China Lake and Point Mugu, CA. In order to provide improved service capabilities to current and future NAVAIR operations, NAWCWD is modernizing and optimizing the infrastructure that currently supports weapons development and testing activities. HOW OUR CONFIGURATION MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Serve as an interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues
Assist the GDIT Program Manager in overseeing contractor execution of the contract requirements and employment of program/project resources at customer site
Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects
Acts as primary liaison between Program Management and other functional groups and resolves any issues regarding configuration management documentation
Builds and develops application tables/panels/reports, and codes individual modules and complex functions for a client/server enterprise application
Integrates software, develops external interfaces, and maintains technical documentation
Establishes, documents, implements, manages, and monitors the release management process in line with overall objectives, and ensure program-wide compliance for both normal and emergency (break/fix) operations
Measures and monitors progress to help ensure application/version releases are delivered in a timely manner and meet expectations
Helps define exact content and roll out plan for a release, aligned with change management processes
Helps identify all applicable stakeholders per release, notifies, communicates, and manages expectations as required during the planning and roll out of new releases
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):
Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance
Required Experience: 3+ years of experience
Experience with DoD IT or weapons development programs
Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML and SQL
Familiarity with C# language a plus
Required Certifications: Specific certification requirements
Education: BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
Location: Onsite at Point Mugu, CA

The likely salary range for this position is $101,566 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
